A church is as strong as the members and dedicated servants that help to support it. We are proud to announce the 2006 Officers and Volunteers of Unity Church of Metairie. These individuals dedicate time and love to make our church a foothold and "beacon of light and love" in the community. We strongly encourage you to take a moment and seek these individuals out to thank them for their efforts on our behalf.
Rev. Rhonda Liles

Rev. Rhonda K. Liles has been the Sr. Minister at Unity Church in Metairie since June 1, 2004. Prior to moving to Metairie, she worked at Silent Unity on the grounds of Unity Village in Lee's Summit, MO. A "transplanted Florida native", she enjoys the beach, swimming (well really sunning), reading, and being entertained by her two cats...Charm and Baby. Rev. Liles is also the Vice-President of Membership for the Jefferson Chamber Toastmasters Club, and recently achieved her CTM. Volunteering is an important aspect of "service" and she enjoys her weekly volunteer activity as a "baby rocker" at Ocshner Hospital, and describes this a "soul food". Her two daughters live in Florida, and her two granddaughters are a joy in life.

Meg Kinzer is more than the "voice on the phone and answering machine"! As the office manager for the church she keeps the day to day activities of the church running smoothly; and, she does so as a part-time employee. She has been active with Unity for a number of years, and has been the office manager for three. Meg works closely with our minister, Board of Trustees, and volunteers to follow-up and implement the activites in support of our mission and purpose.
